Inova recognizes that its own employees represent an excellent recruiting source. The Inova Employee Referral Bonus Program allows current Inova employees to earn cash incentives by referring qualified healthcare professionals.

Current Employee Referral Bonus Programs

$10,000 Critical Care Nursing Referral Bonus

In order to be eligible for this referral bonus, your referred candidate must:

  • Have a minimum of two years’ experience in the critical care nursing specialty area they are hired into.
  • Be hired into a qualified Critical Care cost center. The full list may be found on InovaNET.
  • Be an external candidate. Internal transfers do not qualify for the bonus. 
  • Include your name on their employment application.
  • Remain in their position for at least 90 days

$300 Employee Referral Bonus

In order to be eligible for this referral bonus, your referred candidate must:

  • Be an external candidate. Internal transfers do not qualify for the bonus. 
  • Be hired into a full-time position (30-40 budgeted regular hours per week).  
  • Include your name on their employment application.
  • Remain in their position for at least 90 days

$150 Employee Referral Bonus

In order to be eligible for this referral bonus, your referred candidate must:

  • Be an external candidate. Internal transfers do not qualify for the bonus. 
  • Be hired into a part-time position (16-29 budgeted regular hours per week).  
  • Include your name on their employment application.
  • Remain in their position for at least 90 days

In order to be eligible for the Employee Referral Bonus you must not:

  • be a member of the Human Resources Team.
  • be any person who may be directly or indirectly associated with the hiring process of the referred candidate (including peer interviews).
  • be a Management Team member referring a direct report. 

All referrals from Management Team and above are subject to review.

All other employees (including PRNs and part-time staff) can participate in the Referral Bonus Program. 

Once the referred candidate has been in their position for at least 90 days, you may request your Employee Referral Bonus through eProfile. Please contact eServices at eServices@inova.org for the full Employee Referral Bonus policy and for questions regarding this process. 

All referral bonuses will be subject to all legally required deductions.

How do I make sure the person who referred me receives their Employee Referral Bonus? 

As you complete the application process, you will be asked How did you hear about Inova? You will need to select Employee Referral and include the name of the current Inova employee who referred you.

Current Sign On Bonuses & Relocation Programs

Critical Care Nursing

Registered Nurses with at least two years of Critical Care RN experience are eligible to receive a $20,000 sign on bonus. Those relocating from more than 50 miles away will also receive up to $20,000 in reimbursable relocation expenses. Your Critical Care RN experience must be within the same specialty area you are hired into. Those entering fellowship programs are not eligible. Accepting the bonus requires signing a 3 year employment agreement.

Inova PACE Program

The InovaCares for Seniors™ PACE® Program is a comprehensive, coordinated healthcare program and adult day health service provided within the welcoming environment of its community-based center in Fairfax, VA.

The following Inova PACE positions are now eligible for $2,500 sign on bonuses:
